Regional Spare Parts Senior Manager

-   Lead Spare Part Business in APAC and ensure profitable growth as part of Ownership Solutions development
-   Ensure reliable supply (Line Fill Rate) of Spare Parts while maintaining a healthy inventory level (NOWC targets)
-   Establish best in class processes (e.g. Spare Part Selection, Supplier & Supply Chain Management. Pricing, All-time buy)
-   Maintain reliable, cost effective supplier base and good contractual relationship with key suppliers
-   Lead price definition, review and tracking process
-   Utilize transparent reporting across APAC sector to have an up to date status of the business
-   Ensure efficient S&OP demand planning process on country, region and sector level
-   Initiate and run cross sector projects to pilot new ideas (e.g. 3D printing, warehouse solutions, new distribution channels)  
-   Foster mutually benefiting contact with other Sectors / Global functions
-   Seek synergies between countries, cluster and across sectors
-   Work cooperatively and effectively with country sales companies to deliver timely, cost effective and comprehensive Spare Parts supply support
-   Continuous improvement – actively seek and promote improvements to the business including implementation of  Electrolux group initiatives and best practices


Minimum Qualification

Key Responsibilities:

-   First priority is spare parts availability to support new product sales and secure brand loyalty
-   Second priority is to identify genuine spare parts sales opportunities (ie non-warranty support supply) to derive after market income from the growing, installed base of appliances, and support local markets to market and sell spare parts
-   Establish effective networking with APAC regional country heads plus spare parts, service and operations managers in each APAC sales company, and ensure a cooperative, constructive and pro-active working relationship between country sales company and APAC regional functions
-   Identify challenges and constraints in each market for the effective support of finished goods with optimal availability of spare parts
-   Optimize spare parts availability to ensure the balance of fast time to market (to minimize potential legal liabilities and maximize brand loyalty) with lowest cost (local stocking versus central stocking with associated transport logistics)
-   Optimize spare parts availability through the whole product lifecycle – that includes negotiating spare parts as part of the original production planning and sourcing; managing spare parts through component engineering changes whilst in production; and ensuring ongoing supply of spare parts for obsolete and superseded models after production has ended.
-   Prepare budgets in conjunction with country based sales company counterparts in the APAC region
-   Achieve cost commitments and targets
-   Achieve customer service commitments and targets
-   Drive productivity including but not limited to leveraging local, regional and group wide resources, facilities and processes; and in particular pursuing alternative solutions for the long term supply of spare parts for the whole of life management of product sales.
-   Manage commercial relationships with suppliers, including pricing and trading terms, within company policy and maintaining the highest reputation for ethics and integrity
-   Recruit and develop people with a view to succession planning and potential opportunities internationally within the Group internationally
-   Identify opportunities for growth in spare parts products or distribution, determine action plans and investments required to take advantage of them, and be able to assess the risks and rewards
-   Ensure all aspects of the company’s spare parts activities comply with all statutory and legal obligations including consumer and competition law, work, health and safety and environmental legislation in all APAC jurisdictions

Key Performance Indicators:

-   Net Sales, Contribution to Fix, EBIT, NOWC for Spare Parts
-   Line Fill Rate
-   Average inventory value of Spare Parts as % of Net Sales
-   Excess and Obsolete inventory value
-   Approval of necessary Investment Requests (IR’s) to support execution of the strategic plan
-   Asset investments (e.g. warehousing) completed on time and to budget
-   Contractual Lead-time Compliance for Electrolux suppliers

Technical skills:

-   Previous consumer durables aftermarket industry experience
-   Must be proficient with MS Office Package
-   Computer literacy to enable learn/use EIS tools such as Cognos

Direct Reports (Job Positions):

None in the first instance – however it is expected that a regional spare parts resource group will be established reporting to this function as an outcome of the best strategic plan that is developed, recommended and endorsed
