The Manager, Sales Operations will assume a key role in the North America major appliances Sales organization.  The role will contribute strongly to the organization’s obtainment of our sales growth and profit goals by:

  • working with existing and new Customers, Sales Channels, IT, RDC Operations, Supply Chain and other internal and external partners to design and implement processes for driving, enabling and reporting major appliance sales via internal and external e-commerce sites;
  • optimizing the sell and disposition of Scratch and Dent products; and
  • efficiently managing “special case” delivery and returns

The successful candidate will thus combine strong project management; operational knowledge related to order fulfillment, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration.



  • Work with current and new customers to identify the requirements and expectations related to setting up and executing e-Commerce sales transactions and deliveries
  • Prioritize the requirements from multiple customers
  • Work with internal and external partners to design new processes related to e-Commerce sales transactions and deliveries
  • Manage the set-up of new e-Commerce related processes and the implementation processes for additional customers
  • Communicate status of implementations externally and internally
  • Determine metrics for e-Commerce execution and develop dashboards for reporting
  • Monitor process execution and drive resolution of process failures and corrective actions
  • Create pricing for loads based on unique mix of models in each load


  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Secure new customers as needed to supplement demand based on geographic needs

  • Implement price increases in alignment with company moves
  • Create unique offers for RAC and items with torn cartons for which we have no replacement cartons
  • Actively participate in ReverseLogix task force


  • Arrange pickup and resale of repossessed inventory when customers fail to pay finance agencies
  • Arrange for the pickup of exhibition product and create unique resale offers to move the inventory


  • Identify items classified as closeout / obsolete and work with Pricing to determine closeout offers
  • Publish updated closeout lists weekly

Minimum Qualification


  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • 6+ years’ experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Demand Flow or related fields
  • Project management experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of e-commerce and order fulfillment processes for major consumer appliances
  • Experience in a matrixed organization preferred
  • This position will require occasional travel
