SAP ABAP Developer
Stockholm or Pordenone, Italy, Sweden
We are looking for a passionate, experienced SAP ABAP developer in the Supply Chain & Logistics area with a particular focus on Warehousing & Logistics. In warehousing the relevant version of SAP used currently is SAP WM (integrated in ECC). This position will offer an international environment in an industry that is undergoing exciting changes and innovation. The role is part of the central Europe-wide Supply Chain & Logistics Solutions. The position might occasionally require travel, but it is not essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Assesss and advise on Functional Designs provided by analysts.
•Participate in the design of technical solutions.
•Provide work estimates for development tasks.
•Provide developed solutions in ABAP (including RF) within agreed timescales.
•Basic ABAP coding, developing customer specific functions, transactions, reports, screens
•Developing smartforms and its print program
•Developing own functions in standard enhancements (user exit, BADI)
•At least 3-5 years experience as ABAP developer
•Manage tasks, such as above, concurrently.
•Strong ability to understand business demands.
•Strong problem-solving skills.
•Strong sense of ownership and focus on delivery
•Strong ability to dive into details, in order to find solutions and solve problems.
•Strong Software Change Management skills.
•Ability to communicate technical ideas with analysts and other developers.
•Strong communication skills (in English), verbally and written.
•Good presentation skills.
•Self-motivated and self-sufficient – able to manage tasks without micro-management.
•Committed and target oriented – meeting deadlines
•Experiences with hardware devices such as handheld scanners and wifi portable printers is a plus.
•Warehouse operational experiences is a plus
•Logistics Execution operational experiences is a plus
•SAP ECC – WM, SD, MM, LE (SAP eWM an advantage)
•MS Office Package (Power Point, Excel, Word)
•Recognised qualification in ABAP Development
