SAP GL Key User is responsible for ensuring high-quality consolidated financial information for external and internal purposes in accordance with legal requirements and Group needs. Apart from that, SAP GL KU acts as a SAP specialist for GL process and identifies improvement opportunities and problem-solving. It is a temporary position for approx. 1 year.

A regular day at work:
• Acting as SAP GL process specialist providing guidance and support to operational teams
• Collaborate with GL Process Manager, GL Team Leaders, GL teams and GL KU Coordinator to deliver required support
• Leading trainings in area of expertise
• Actively participates or is consulted in different projects in the area of expertise  
• Identify improvement opportunities and resolve problems in GL SAP area
• Support IT team in finance accounting and reporting systems implementation (e.g. SAP) according to general plan and methodology
• Ensure alignment of finance accounting and reporting systems functionality with process requirements
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and legal and other local/business requirements
• Support in scenarios defining for all test (PT, UAT, Retro-fit), preparation and execution of all tests (test data, test scripts, expected results, defects logging and solution)
• Go-live and period end closing support, monitoring and escalating existing problems with finance accounting and reporting systems, solving problems if possible, cooperation with IT in case of bigger issues
• Developing non-standard reports (e.g. KPIs, Productivity, Quality, errors made, operational needs)
• Sharing necessary information and knowledge, coaching and supporting other team members in achieving team goals
• Proactive customer service
• Actively undertaking activities to increase own competency portfolio

You:
• Minimum 3 years experience in finance and accounting processes
• Competent and experienced in GL process activities
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and regional accounting practices/regulatory environment
• Very good MS Office, SAP knowledge
• Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• Excellent ability to collect, organize and analyze business information
• Outstanding Problem Solving mind set
• Experience in project and change management would be an asset
• Experience in leading trainings would be an asset
• Transition experience or SAP implementation experience would be an asset
• Ability to work under time pressure and good business judgment 
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to details
• A responsible attitude and confidentiality
