CAPEX Senior Category Buyer
Electrolux Purchasing is responsible for sourcing direct and indirect materials and services across the entire Group. More than 75% of the Group’s product costs are handled by Purchasing. Its vision is to be a world-class organization that continuously contributes to the Group's strong drive for innovative products and service solutions. It focuses on functional excellence, strong collaborations with internal and external stakeholders, and leveraging global size to ensure the lowest total cost of ownership for materials and services purchased.
The global Indirect scope manages a purchasing base of approx. € 1,3 billion spread across all indirect materials and services, excluding logistics and transportation. The team is composed of about 60 people, between direct and indirect team members
Supports the BA Lead Category Manager to develop and implement the BA Capex strategy in alignment with the Global Capex strategy, making sure that is properly executed within the Region
Supports deployment of Global Capex Purchasing Process
Supports the BA Lead Category Manager to have control and a clear overview of the Capex spend in the region and especially in Poland.
Along the purchasing process deliver maximum added value for the Company (value propositions: TCO, Cash, Business Growth, LTAs, Business Intelligence, payment terms)
Supports the BA Lead Category Manager to manage relationship with the regional Capex suppliers
Contributes to define appropriate KPIs for the vendors and make sure that they are contractually respected
Maintains good and regular relationship with stakeholders in the Region
Assures Capex purchasing is involved early in the development process by stakeholders
Identifies, evaluates and selects suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing and reliability of supply. Acts with more autonomy and/or handles a larger purchasing budget.
Key areas of accountability/responsibility is Support the BA Lead Category Manager in:
•Develop Business Area CAPEX strategy and provide high level guidance to the factories
•Reports CAPEX spend and cost avoidances
•Crete relationship with Polish stakeholders by regular visit in the factories
•Contributes actively in team activities, sharing experience and ideas
•Identifies and solves problems in straightforward situations; generates possible solutions, analyzes each using standard procedures
•Cost analysis of sourced products: establish a costing structure for quotations, analyze and compare offers, labor and overhead cost in support of the Capex team.
•Align CAPEX strategies between local/BA and global, make sure consistency;
•Enhances contract Management and NDA/SLA implementation;
•Engages key stakeholders, build strong partnership between function and purchasing;
•Effectively drives NOWC improvement activities for BA;
•SBM(supplier base management)/SRM(supplier relationship management);
•Fosters innovation input from suppliers and promotes it into Electrolux organization
•Complies with Electrolux Code of Conduct, Ethical and Compliance Rules
Internal: Extensive internal contacts with internal stakeholders.
External: External contact with suppliers and Self-driven with high integrity.
•Experience in Equipment, Tooling and Real Estate with a relevant technical equivalent;
•Hands on experience with manufacturing process management;
•Strong team player with outstanding communication and cross function skills;
•Strong negotiation skills;
•Fluent English is must;
•Minimum 3 years in technical purchasing or Engineering positions;
•Able to travel for business purpose;
•Understanding of Capex Market (market analysis)
•Experience on project management and proven record on results delivered;
•Strong service mind and proven capability on stakeholder engagement;
•Able to successfully manage diversity and conflicts;
•Knowlegde of Powerpoint, Excel, Word and other Microsoft programs.
•Ideally university qualifications, preferably in engineering or other relevant discipline.
One of our factory in Poland: Olawa, Zarow, Siewierz, Swidnica.
Languages: Fluent spoken and written English
Other languages: Italian and/or Polish are a plus.
