You will be based in Porcia, our multinational and diverse site dedicated to our Product Line Care where around 2000 people daily contribute to our purpose. Here we develop Washing Machine, Dish Washer and Tumble Dryer for our consumers worldwide. Here we reinvent every day how to better take care of our clothes in millions of homes across the globe.

You will work on a new project or current production improvements from the initial brief, through the design and development stage, to the testing of one or more prototypes, right through to final manufacture and implementation

You will be part of the team in charge of developing new architecture, platform, modules and their roadmap in agreement with product specs, ensuring development in line with modularization principles at global level.

While working in a project, you will interact with many functions of the Company (Labs, M&E, Purchasing..), external partners and suppliers.


Your main responsibilities:

•Create and validate mechanical system/module/components taking care of its design and development (technical specification and documentation, functionality, reliability, manufacturability, safety, quality, cost etc.)

•Support Laboratories (internal ones and external partners) on development/verification test result’s analysis and cooperating in find technical solutions

•Participate in system/module/components definition and its reviews, ensuring standardization & modularization approach

•Participate in supplier evaluation and selection

•Monitor and commission changes to plant and systems (PLM, …) and support part/product approval

•Supply all technical input for product literature, BOM, labels, technical manuals, etc. 

•Ensure strong relationship with all functions in the organization and drive proper external networking



•Mechanical engineering degree or Technical Diploma

•Minimum 5 years of proven experience in mechanical components design

•Knowledge in Advanced Prototype Building

•Knowledge in Drafting/Modelling & Simulation

•Knowledge in plastic injection process

•Knowledge in metal stamping/forming process

•Use of CATIAV5 and PLM(Teamcenter) is a plus

•Ability to take initiative and collaborate effectively with different functions

•Fluent English (written and spoken), Italian is a plus
