SUMMARY:

The Last Mile Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for applying business management principles and financial concepts to identify and recommend strategies which maximize Electrolux’s performance against sales and profit goals while minimizing risk. The ideal candidate must have the ability to proactively research, analyze, and interpret data to produce substantiated recommendations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Support Last Mile team with the development and implementation of prevention and resolution strategies through quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Act as Finance Lead for the Last Mile organization to advise of financial implications from major business and strategy decisions
  • Perform comparisons to industry/company benchmarks to identify contracting opportunities and best practices
  • Monitor, measure and analyze market to optimize rates and costs
  • Ensure Electrolux and partners have proper inventory controls in place, creating these if they do not currently exist
  • Review customer agreements to ensure efficiency and partner capacity constraints are considered
  • Actively participates on a cross-functional team ensuring Last Mile organizational goals are met
  • Responsible for all billing compliance management, creating efficient billing, tracking and accrual processes to ensure accurate financial results
  • Assist with deal evaluation and creation of analytical deliverables
  • Provide reports and analysis to department and senior management as requested
  • Use software tools to streamline and improve routine tasks
  • Develop tools and models to analyze compliance to commitment contracts
  • Follows all management approved processes and procedures; alerts management when circumstances require deviation to the approved processes and procedures.

Minimum Qualification

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive operational work experience with emphasis on analytics
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis and measurement reporting

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills; identifies trends and summarizes issues and potential root causes
  • Demonstrated cross functional communication skills
  • General knowledge of complex business practices and concepts that impact the success and profitability of the organization
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in operational planning, customer satisfaction, efficiency and process methods
  • Working knowledge of operational performance, data analysis techniques and operational plan development process
  • Strategic and creative problem solver
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated cross functional communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bias for action; follows up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes
  • Ability to respond quickly and positively to change as well as acting as a change catalyst
  • Unquestionable business ethics and integrity
  • Able to work effectively with cross functional teams and at all levels of management
  • Auditing and/or inventory management background experience a plus
  • SAP experience preferred
