You will be based in Forli in our multinational and diverse R&D team, part of CX Area Taste Food Preparation.
We are looking for the Senior Laboratory Engineer who will take active part of the new and exciting European Consumer Experience Laboratories organization responsible for NPI (new product introduction) projects and also maintenance on current production. You will be involved in all the gas cooktop projects for USA & Canadian markets testing from concept to final design keeping always in mind consumer needs and working with a consumer centric approach to deliver outstanding products and user experience.
•Support platform, technologies’ teams & Product Care in safety standards compliance testing, solution validation and product quality improvement & cost reduction
•Manage/be active part in concept development from design start (DS) to start of production (SoP)
•Ensure proper maintenance of testing equipment according to ISO17025
•Guide testing alignment with other location labs (China & US) acting as reference person
•Support the timely delivery of assigned R&D projects
•Work with consultants, suppliers or manufacturers to develop electrical or mechanical solutions for better household appliances
•Keep in mind consumer perspective supporting company in delivery outstanding products
•Master’s degree in engineering (energetic or mechanical) with experience in household products
•Experience in testing facilities would be a plus,
•Knowledge of gas products requirements and constraints
•Familiar with safety standards (UL & CSA ones would be a plus)
•Fluent in English and Italian written and spoken
•An open, collaborative self-starter with the ability to partner effectively with people in other teams and business areas
