Senior Purchase Demand Planning Coordinator


JOB DESCRIPTION:
Sitting within the Group Operations function, Product Sourcing (PS) is an organization managing the Sourcing, Project Leadership, Quality and Supply Chain for a broad scope of Sourced OEM Products for the APAC, Middle East Africa, Europe, North America and Latin America regions.

Within the Produt Sourcing structure there is an opportunity for the position of Senior Purchase Demand Planning Coordinator in Product Sourcing BA facing organization. The candidate is responsible for managing Demand Consolidation, Demand & Supply Balancing, PO Release, Inbound Allocation and Capacity Prioritization for their sector together with collecting inputs from Product Sourcing Supplier facing team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Collect and consolidate open forecast from Business Areas (BAs)
• Ensure the principles of forecast provision are respected by BAs
• Share buying volume across the organization and with Supplier to effectively plan capacity and materials.
• Analyze Buying Volume development based on rolling 12m
• Collect inputs from supplier facing team on capacity and material availability
• Allocation & Prioritization in case of capacity and material constraints and proposing solution on allocation decision with respect of Global Product Line input
• PO Release (MOQ and LT Check)
• Submission of constrained demand to Suppliers 
• Driving Demand & Supply Balancing process:
- Agree level loading actions by reviewing supplier fill rate
- Calculate BA reserved capacity at critical suppliers
- Coordinate level loading actions with BAs together with instructing about pull-forward/ push-out
- Monitor level loading actions and follow up with BAs
• Delivery performance tracking and Production Forecast Accuracy Reporting
• Drive & support process enhancements initiatives: identify, design and implement improvements
• Support group projects with business process understanding, testing support and act as a change agent within the team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 
• College (BA/BSc) or University (MA/MSc) degree in Business
• Minimum 4 years experience in Supply Chain 
• Fluent English knowledge is required
• MS Office knowledge (advanced level in excel)
• Knowledge of VBA programming and MS Access highly appreciated
• SAP knowledge is a plus
