    Sitting within the Global Operations function, Global Sourcing Operations (GSO) is an organization managing the Sourcing, Project Leadership, Quality and Supply Chain for a broad scope of Sourced OEM Products including but not limited to Home Comfort, Food Preparation, Food Preservation, Wine Appliances, Fabric Care, Dish Care, Water Care, Floor Care and Small Domestics Appliances for the APAC, Middle East Africa, Europe, North America and Latin America regions.

    Within the GSO structure there is an opportunity for the position of Sr. Supply Chain Manager. As a Sr. SCM you will be responsible to lead the operational teams in Southern/Northern China that handle all flows of major appliance and part of HC&SDA finished products sourced from Asia to the Electrolux Group Sectors worldwide, working very close to all suppliers and stakeholders and support actively to implement new flows for spares and C&A. The candidate should ensure that Electrolux continues to leverage on economies of scale, making use of existing best practices and ensuring operational excellence.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operationally lead and develop the teams in China, managing flows of major appliances and part of HC&SDA to
  • Electrolux Group Sectors worldwide (LatAm, APAC/MEA, EU and NA)
  • Actively support the implementation of new flows for spares and C&A
  • Work close to the local teams in all daily operations, providing support and guidance in all operational issues
  • Ensure that common processes and metrics are being followed
  • Manage the forecast and order flows, procurement and production planning, as well as the shipping plans with Electrolux suppliers in Asia with aim to deliver the best KPI performance
  • Assure the timely weekly and monthly reporting
  • Deliver agreed upon KPI metrics to support Sectors’ achieving targeted revenue, margin and growth objectives
  • Participate in the budget process, actively monitoring the costs and ensure that costs will not be exceeded
  • Work closely to the leadership team and other functional leaders to support operational activities
  • Drive the communication on the weekly and monthly calls with all BAs and suppliers
  • Develop, implement, monitor and continuously improve the operations and processes
  • Support internal teams to understand the needs of all stakeholders and use business and technical expertise to develop collaborative solutions
  • Develop and nurture relationship with suppliers in order to develop sustainable and profitable growth
  • Manage every aspect of the supply chain to achieve the balance between excellent product availability against product shortage in all business areas.
  • Optimize supply plans while integrating constraints, including inbound capacities, storage utilization, product receiving specifications and supplier MOQs

Minimum Qualification

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering or Operations Management.
  • Minimum 8 years experience of working in a multinational environment and responsible for leading the Supply Chain, Logistics, manufacturing or Production related functions
  • Strong knowledge of planning, logistics and Supply Chain management
  • Experience managing with Asian manufacturers and carriers
  • Experience in all logistics functions (drayage, ocean, customs, etc.)
  • Diverse management experience
  • Strong knowledge of OEM/ODM industry
  • Leadership, coaching and people development skills
  • Work experience in a multicultural environment, awareness and understanding of cultural differences
