Software Developer 

For St. Petersburg R&D site of our Global Connectivity and Technology Center, we are currently looking for a Software Developer.

If you are passionate about innovation, proficient in Linux and the Internet of Things, possess C programming skills and enjoy dynamic, international environment, join us and strengthen our Connectivity Modules Team which on everyday basis supports all Electrolux product lines with the best-in-class software.


Your task as a Software Developer will be to:
• Enhance functionality of present and future WiFi-enabled household appliances capable to interact with Smart Home systems, Internet services and Mobile apps, forming a global ecosystem
• Develop software for Linux embedded systems
• Develop Windows apps and libraries for servicing WiFi-enabled appliances
• Debug and test
• Harmonize specifications and Update technical documentation 
• Interface with various (also non-technical) divisions and external suppliers at defining of tasks, gathering info to perform them, delivering results, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic engineering / Computer science / Information technology or similar; Master’s degree is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience within a complex international organization, also for open source projects, is a plus
• Knowledge of Linux embedded, preferably CodeAurora, OpenWRT, Yocto projects
• Knowledge of Windows API, dotNet framework, WPF
• Strong knowledge of C/C++/C# and Bash; Python is a plus
• Knowledge of virtualization systems: embedded (e.g. L4Re) and desktop (e.g. VMware)
• Knowledge of computer networks, internetworking, IoT and TCP/IP protocols
• Knowledge of software and Internet security is a plus
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and version management systems
• Knowledge of Atlassian suite (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence) and Jenkins CI server is a plus
• Experience of working by agile methodology is a plus
• Good command of English
