The Spares Category Manager will report into the Spares & Repairs Senior Category Manager who has the ultimate responsibility to support each cluster (market) across Europe commercially and operationally. It is imperative to build upon the current strategy and drive change throughout the Aftermarket organisation in order to significantly drive commercial growth.


  • Build upon and strengthen the cross departmental relationship with Purchasing and Logistics
  • Taking a controlling position with the Electrolux Spares Triangle, communicating the business needs within the forum
  • To reduce cost and therefore aid increased profit of Aftermarket spares and services
  • To analyse the requirements and changing needs of the spares consumers and consumers adapting targets and accordingly in co-operation with the sales teams


  • Proven operational capabilities within a service supplier industry
  • Experience with multi-channel sales/business development
  • Good commercial acumen skills: identifies and responds quickly to market opportunities
  • Proven horizontal leader with experience of executing successful change management programmes
  • Results-focused and extremely diligent
  • Strong execution capabilities
  • Ability to operate within a matrix environment that is highly dependent on effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong influencing skills
  • A true team player

Preferred Career Experience:  

  • The candidate will have strong influencing skills with experience working with external vendors
  • Preferably at least 5 years of professional experience in a senior operations/commercial role
  • At least 2 years’ experience within selling spares/parts into a service market or comparable service related products.
  • Fluent English to a professional level is a mandatory requirement - Multilingual would be advantageous, however not essential
  • International business experience would be an advantage however is not essential
  • Working within a central or Head Office position would be an advantage, however not essential
  • The candidate must be able and willing to travel across Europe as required from time to time
