EMEA Purchasing & the role
Electrolux Major Appliances Purchasing is a fundamental contributor for the achievement of the company objectives. We approximately control a value of roughly 2.3 Bil € currently equal to +/- 60% of our Net Sales.

We, 98 colleagues of 12 different nationalities, operate both at central and plant level and collaborate with a panel of international suppliers engaging them with with our internal business partners like: Sales, Product Line, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, R&D, Manufacturing & Engineering, Quality, etc.

As Electrolux focus is to shape living for the better, the consumer and the satisfaction of his/her needs are fundamental . As a consequence, Spares Purchasing plays a very furndametal role in satisfying the consumer needs in case a repair has to take place. In Purchasing Department, the Buyer for Spares is responsible to define and manage the purchasing of spare parts for Business Area EUROPE, in close collaboration with Operation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Sales with the target to ensure best-in-class service level at competitive costs.
In the specific the Candidate will actively contribute to implement a better system to manage the purchase of Spares anticipating their official phase-out, as well as to monitor the high runners spares and promoting cost-effective solutions for the purchase.
The Cadidate will have the opportunity to work with with key peers belonging to different departments (Purchasing ,Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, Product Line, Operations) and therefore get a flavour of our dynamic and international environment. This position for sure represents a fantastic growth experience where you can learn from all the different activities we need to manage.
The ideal Candidate has a University degree and is willing to operate in a a dynamic, international and result-driven environment. We count on our well-developped social capabilities as the tasks to be managed are cross departments and Candidate needs to create internal networks. A positive attitude complete the set of the expected soft skills. On top of that, we also count on a Candidate with a good set of analytic thinking skills to get us through the day, elaborating new innovative solutions. The knowledge of English language is manadaotyr for this position, as the stakeholders are spread in all European countries.
Reporting to: Purchasing Manager Warehouse, Secondary Transport and Spares BA Europe
Duration of the Collaboration: 6 months, with an ideal start in February 2020
