Our co-op program will provide young talent the opportunity to gain technical and professional skills to begin their careers. At Electrolux, we provide a “best in class” cooperative educational experience for all student co-ops. We are looking for co-op students who want to shape living for the better. In this three-semester rotational co-op program, students will achieve the following learning objectives:

  • Utilize academic experience and apply experience to real world problems by developing their technical capabilities.
  • Build on their confidence and sense of responsibility in the workplace.
  • Confirm their choice of major and career with Electrolux.


  • Support and participate in hardware team’s daily functional activities on development of Induction Cooking modules.
  • Complete assigned engineering tasks under the direction of experienced engineers, including hardware design, component validation, thermal analysis, verification, etc.
  • Build and testing of prototype electronic boards.
  • Support development of induction generators and coils.
  • Support induction system optimization for ranges and cooktops.
  • EMC, Safety and Reliability testing.
  • Hardware/Software system validation and optimization.
  • Assisting with other activities as assigned.
  • Demonstrate creative ability through invention or other significant contributions to the profession.
  • Fully support company programs, policies and objectives.

Minimum Qualification


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor in electrical engineering.
  • Must have junior status at your university.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
  • Possess a solid understanding of electrical engineering.
  • Possess a great attitude towards learning and working.
  • Have strong knowledge of power electronics and magnetics.
  • Knowledge of microcontroller-based systems.
  • Knowledge of schematic capture and board layout.
  • Knowledge of resonant converters or switch mode power supplies.
  • Skilled in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work under pressure while multitasking.
  • Strong communication skills.
