The Sr. Compensation & Rewards Specialist is responsible for advising HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in the areas of compensation, recognition and rewards.  This role supports the North American Rewards function with internal, market and cost analyses, compensation review activities, market alignment and improvement of reward and recognition programs.


  • Collaborate with the Director, Total Rewards NA and outside consultants on a variety of projects, including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new rewards programs
  • Generate in depth analyses / modeling of compensation data and review current compensation trends to assist the organization in evaluating individual and group rewards proposals 
  • Administer North American pay, bonus and reward programs, including support of the annual pay review process
  • In cooperation with HRBPs, determine correct job evaluations of salaried positions across the region by leveraging the Electrolux job hierarchy and industry position evaluation methods
  • Analyze and compare existing reward programs across sectors and business units, investigate impact and cost effectiveness of these programs, including support in potential M&A integration projects
  • Monitor market trends, participate in compensation & benefit surveys, interpret results and make recommendations for use in Electrolux
  • Create and maintain reward policies, tools, communication and training materials, in line with industry best practices and business needs
  • Partner with HRIS team to ensure that Electrolux HR systems support compensation data for reporting and information is updated to reflect changes to salary structures and bonus programs
  • Support HRBPs and Talent Acquisition Partners on candidate and employee compensation setting and ad hoc reward questions
  • Educate and train HRBPs and managers on job architecture, reward programs and policies to build transparency and trust in the Electrolux reward philosophy 
  • Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in local and global reward projects (such as regional implementation of global HR IT solutions, reward systems and programs) and join best practice sharing

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred 
  • Minimum of five years relevant experience in a US or international reward context, preferably in a multinational company or with a consultancy firm
  • Certified Compensation Professional designation or similar certification preferred
