Sr Sales Operations Analyst

Responsible for the implementation and administration of variable compensation programs for Electrolux North America Sales organization. Design and develop reporting of actual results and analyses of results at a management and sales level. Issue variable compensation payout files to Payroll, in accordance with the programs. Establish effective cross-functional relationships with Accounting and Payroll.  Other Analyst duties, as required.


  • Collaborate with Business Leaders to determine the strategies and objectives for the quarterly variable sales compensation programs
  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders to determine individual salesperson commission program goals, in accordance with the program strategies, objectives and governance.
  • Creation and distribute formal program packages to the salespersons included in the commission program Develop and implement compensation infrastructure for tracking performance to quota and calculating compensation payouts
  • Lead the monthly Commissions Committee meetings by providing updates of open projects, any payroll issues and resolutions, and updates to overall commissions strategy
  • Maintain checks and balances to ensure compensation program is aligned with profitable growth strategy of EMA-NA (Sales growth and CTF targets)
  • Prepare payroll files according to the monthly actual sales results and the program parameters and submit in accordance with payroll schedule and program payout timelines
  • Work closely with Accounting to ensure accurate accrual balance for compensation payouts
  • Record monthly calculated commissions for the general ledger
  • Prepare and distribute monthly sales reports to Sales leadership, and ad hoc analytical reports for the sales organization and/or HR
  • Support the field team with any questions or concerns about their monthly variable compensation payout
  • Work closely with IT to design and implement new dashboard reports when needed
  • Analyze and present on sales performance results and make recommendations for improvement
  • Work with Finance and Accounting to track financial results versus forecast and Annual Plan
  • Maintain region and territory assignments within SAP environment
  • Maintain the sales organizational hierarchy, and make any changes to hires, terminations, or compensation plan changes
  • Maintain ranking of sales personnel’s performance to quota; determine top performers by Business Unit for annual Sales
  • Performance awards
  • Will support the Sales Operations team with adhoc analysis and reporting

Minimum Qualification


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years’ experience in developing and administering variable compensation programs, or equivalent work experience
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Expert Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vLook-up formulas)
  • Well-developed organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to follow internal procedures and processes
  • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills; team player with ability to interact and collaborate effectively both cross-functionally and with all levels of management
  • Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of manufactured durable good products is a plus
