Supplier Quality Engineer
Full Time

Your Role
Collaborate closely with supplier and interface with cross functional team such as product development and purchasing team to develop new part approval for new project and standardize supplier process to ensure quality requirements can be fulfilled for mass production with timely delivery of project requirements

A Typical Day

Conduct new parts approval for new projects by supporting for reviewing article (AA/FT) test of new/changes components with PPAP to ensure part quality and meet project time plan including review part readiness to incoming quality to get smoothly mass production
Verify supplier process in case of critical to quality and functional of new part development, then standardize supplier process control to ensure mass production can meet quality target
Control of RoHS/REACH compliance both of supplier certificate/ declaration of new components, follow up for regulation updates to comply with Electrolux RML and RoHS regulation.
Establish parts test/inspection standards, procedures and check list as necessary for inspection
Develop new part test items by focusing on critical components through DFMEA activities and establish new part test standard as necessary to support new part development and quality issue from SCR/NRFT
Provide training for part test/inspection standard, part characteristics, part functional and other technical knowledge as necessary for SQA technician/inspectors
Provide technical guidance and advice to suppliers for all improvement activities to reduce defect rates and achieve quality target
Support quality team, implement SQA strategic by using quality lesson learnt, FMEA and risk assessment to forecast future problem
Interface and coordinate follow ups with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of all quality requirements and deliverables of project
Fully support company programs, policies and objectives

Who You Are
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing
Experience in supplier quality more than 5 years
Experience in part quality, quality tools (8D, MSA, SPC), materials, parts and product specification
Strong English communication (both written and spoken)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with supplier to enhance process improvement and resolve quality issue

Core Competencies
Ability to work well under pressure cooperatively with supplier and cross functional team
Strong problem-solving skill as a problem solver and ability to determine root cause
Direct experience in Major appliance industry is a large plus
Knowledge of plastic, sheet metal design development is plus
Demonstrated PC proficiency is required (MS office Products)
General knowledge of manufacturing and assembly methodology
Available to travel if necessary
Fluent in Thai and good English
