Who You Are

Sitting within the Global Operations function, Global Sourcing Operation (GSO) is an organization managing the Sourcing, Project Leadership, Quality and Supply Chain for a broad scope of Sourced OEM Products including Home Comfort, Cooking, Refrigeration, Dishwashers, Washers and Dryers, Water Care, Floor Care and Small Domestics Appliances from the Asia Pac and European regions. With an expected annual volume in excess of 20M units sourced the GSO has supported the delivery of continued business growth and expansion, with future plans in place to maintain the growth trend.

 

Within the GSO structure, there is an opportunity for the position of Supply Chain Data Analyst, Database Management and Reporting in Supply Chain department.   The candidate is responsible for the in-house tailor made database management and reporting; to liaise with the related teams in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports. The candidate should also be supporting the Head of Supply Chain and management when requested.


What a Typical Day

• Collect, consolidate, and update data in Item Master ODMS and other related system when needed

• Assure the accuracy and freshness of the data by continuous follow up and updates

• Collaborate and communicate with related teams/people within GSO and HC&SDA

• Problem solving and further development of Item Master

• Run and distribute the Supply Chain standard reports, KPIs for weekly, monthly, Quarterly and ad hoc reports

• Support in the needed analysis and summaries and all the related UATs

• Generate periodic or ad hoc analysis/reports

• Be the driver of the continuous development and improvement of the Item Master and reporting tools for • Supply Chain

• Continuously identify opportunities and development area in the scope of Supply Chain to ensure GSO’s operational excellence

• work very closely with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy  and delivering optimal service level

• Assist any ad hoc projects/initiatives from time to time as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information system preferred

• At least 3 years experiences in data warehousing or solid Cognos reporting

• Expertise in handling large amounts of data through such capabilities as SQL Server

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills

• Adept at communicating and managing key stakeholders

• Experience in IT system management and/or implementation preferable

• Good business sense, patient, and the ability to exercise independent judgment

• Distinguished quality required:

• Self-motivation with growth mindset

• Able to work with ambiguity and under pressure independently

• Good Analytical skills

• Very strong communication skills, able to explain technical terms to layman

• Intercultural experience/ability to understand and cooperate with people from different cultural backgrounds

• Occasional business travels are required

 

Required languages:

• Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must, Thai or other Asian language is a plus

• Very well written and English

• A strong team player

• Proactive with hands-on mindset
