Tax Director – International tax

We are currently looking for our next Tax Director to join a dynamic and dedicated Tax team in our Group Finance organization. In this role you will work in a diverse and multinational environment with colleagues and stakeholders based in different locations across the globe. You will report to our Head of Group Tax and you will be based in Electrolux’s diverse and dynamic global headquarters in Stockholm. 

Typical day 
As Tax Director, you will be responsible for activities within the area of corporate income tax. You will also be involved in areas of tax such as transfer pricing, indirect taxes and tax accounting & reporting. 

Some of the role’s responsibilities:
• Manage and control the group’s international tax structure and flows while driving standardization and continuous improvement 
• Responsible for the day-to-day tax risk management in the area of corporate tax 
• Participate in the ongoing business changes to ensure compliance and best practice approach regarding tax
• Lead M&A projects from a tax perspective
• Manage extensive collaboration with other teams to ensure timely, accurate and thorough analysis and follow up of tax issues 
• Interpretation and communication of updates in the tax area, including providing recommendations to other functions and business areas
• Ensure implementation and periodically follow up of the tax directive of the Electrolux group on a global basis
• Develop strong working relationships with our business area teams and management as well as other Group staff functions

Key Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of experience working with corporate tax at a multinational company and/or as a consultant
• Master/bachelor degree in law or finance
• Extensive experience in tax management and international tax
• Ability to solve unstructured tax problems and lead multiple priorities with a little day-to-day direction
• Knowledge of participating in negotiations or dealings with tax authorities is recommended   
• Fluent English
