Electrolux North America, Inc., a $5 billion manufacturing and sales subsidiary of AB Electrolux, is seeking a Transition Coordinator. This position will assist the NPI Manager in working cross-functionally with the sales, product line, factories, marketing and supply chain in gathering and sharing information on all new item launches and end of life transitions.  The coordinator will be responsible for new item set up and weekly status code management in key systems like SAP and SAS.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect new Item information for each active project and publish weekly to the organization
  • Work with Merchandising and Sales Operations to collect flooring details for demand team and phase out analysis
  • Provide launch quantities and phase out production plans for the factory and project managers to ensure launch levels are met to support the commercialization
  • Manage the item status and SAP codes for the various transitions weekly to ensure proper timing for ordering and improved life-cycle management to eliminate waste – parts and finished goods
  • Evaluate and update distribution stock target levels weekly to assist in item life cycle inventory management
  • Communicate to the sales organization about product changes and status updates to assist in order management and customer satisfaction
  • Develop truckload levels and shipments for launches to maximize allocated production and quantities needed

Minimum Qualification

  • BA/BS degree required with preferred emphasis on Supply Chain Management, Business or related field 
  • 2-3 Years of experience with supply chain planning and/or demand & inventory planning

  • Proven ability to think analytically 
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks/projects, priorities and deadlines 
  • Self-motivated with positive attitude
  • Prior forecasting, modeling and inventory planning experience
  • Prior retail experience
