UX Digital Experience Lead

Traditionally the appliance industry has been all about Hardware. Today, in the eye of IoT, voice assistants and autonomous systems, software is increasingly entering the center stage to be married with hardware for a winning product. As such, Electrolux is strengthening the team with designers having previous experience from user centered design for web and native apps. 

You will be part of a cross functional product team based in Stockholm, working with Engineering, Design and Product management to drive the digital design within our global business sector Home Care & Small Domestic Appliances. 
Your role

You are a strategic thinker, problem solver and visual communicator. The mission is to lead the Digital Experience for Electrolux with a focus on the apps and services for Home Care & Small Domestic Appliances.  

As our Digital Experience Lead, you are obsessed with what design and technology can do for people. You have the ability to identify and tell stories of user needs, do and lead a user journey analysis and conceptualize user-centric interaction design. You have the ability to define a concept and develop it side-by-side with product management and engineering teams and foster a Build-Measure-Learn environment where you make decisions on quantitative data and qualitative insights.
You are having a keen interest in Branded Experiences and how the different interfaces can support the overall experience cross touch points. You work in a tight team of UX specialists and in partnership with other design competences, like UX Researcher and Communication Designer, to deliver designs from concept to implementation that are not only amazing to look at, but also intuitive and useful for people worldwide.  

You report operationally to the Head of Software Product Home Care & SDA and functionally to the Head of Design Home Care & SDA. You work actively to build a strong User Centric Software Culture both within HC&SDA and within the function in partnership with our Global Digital Experience Team. You support the development of our Branded Design Systems and leverage and build up our common Design Playbook.

Education & experience
• More than 5 years' experience from user centered design 
• Required experience from designing and iterating consumer facing online products 
• Required experience from insights- and data driven design and experimentation 
• Required experience and good understanding of iOS and Android design guidelines 
• Understanding of usability and user experience principles 
• Understanding of the Jobs-To-Be-Done Framework 
• Experienced working closely with engineering, product management, marketing and user research teams 
• Competent in spoken and written English
