Wellbeing & SDA Marketing Activation Specialist - Istanbul, Turkey



The Marketing Activation Specialist is responsible for the overall planning, monitoring and coordination of all operational trade marketing activities within Wellbeing & SDA in Turkey to strengthen the Electrolux Group position with our customers with a clear focus on delivering a best in class ‘Integrated Shopping Experience’ in the eyes of both the retailer and the consumer.  Key to this role will be the development of Channel activation plans which encompass the key brand Electrolux. This is a key role in the organisation, developing and executing, agreed brand strategy alongside sales/channel managers.

• To implement the CEE cluster  strategic marketing plans and develop locally relevant marketing plans for agreed channels and product groups/brand to ensure the delivery of the Net Sales & Margin targets
• Work closely with sales to develop customer specific marketing/account plans 
• Demand creation - to drive marketing programmes that gain market share / maximise sales and profitability through growth in existing customers 
• To effectively manage agreed channels and product groups to maximise our profitability and kpi performance 
• To ensure that all activity is aligned to corporate strategy and meets the company financial and brand objectives
• Implementation of range reviews in key accounts, working closely with the CEE Cluster product line team 
• Development and implementation of a channel growth plan – both existing and new accounts
• Working within the account restrictions, development of POS packs/activity for Electrolux group product standout in store 
• Establish key requirements for ATL & BTL inclusion within the annual Channel/key account plans.


Key Operational Responsibilities:
• Secure full local retail insight and share in the Sales Unit Management Team in order to facilitate decision making
• Full trade marketing management responsibility in assigned region including all product lines, in alignment with the CEE Wellbeing&SDA Marketing Activation Manager, CEE Business Head Wellbeing&SDA and  local Marketing Manager. 
• Responsible for promotions, go-to-market plans, category management and point of sales infrastructure and local implementation within the Sales Unit.
• Responsible in the Sales Unit to ensure that agreed CEE and Sales Unit promotions are carried out:
- Secure  in-store execution
- Align local promotions with CEE Wellbeing&SDA Marketing Activation Manager
- Full local ownership for Sales Unit development of promotions
- Full ownership of implementation of all promotions 
- Track ROI, sales and margin on all customer promotions and product launches
• Management of the promotional plan to avoid conflict between customers and channels; 
• Provide product forecast input for promotional activity based on previous learnings and results as well as channel understanding and demands; 
• Management of campaign/channel marketing spend within agreed budget limits;
• Understanding of sales in and reporting sales out performance at customer/sku level to understand and build improved range and promotional activity for the future;
• Manage and provide training for in store demonstrators - to an agreed budget by account
• Work together with the CEE Cluster team and local sales managers to provide small appliances training, merchandising guidelines and standards, and clear sales targets to the team so that they can effectively train in store staff. 
• Apply and secure execution of European marketing go-to-market plans in the country
- Fully adhere to CEE cluster strategies and activities
- Make local plans to secure financial targets are achieved
• Align all go-to-market plans with the Sales Unit Manager and cluster PLMs
• Develop each product category using category management guidelines. Full responsibility for supporting all launches / platforms with appropriate in-store support elements
- Effectively manage the creation and production of sales literature, including leaflets, price lists and training material in line with agreed budgets and guidelines;
- Present all support elements to the Sales Unit
- Respond to EU designed POS orders by managing quantities needed to develop Sales Unit product distribution 
- Secure excellent in-store execution across Sales Unit
- Visual feedback and comments of support elements
• Responsibility for Product PR and Digital Communications in the Sales Unit
- updating online content including videos and imagery, retailers packs internal and external banners, blogs, social media content for all customer websites and branded websites 
- managing the day to day running and updating of the B2C web shop including promotional activity.
• Be the single point of contact in the Sales Unit to Region CEE Wellbeing & SDA Marketing Activation Manager and continually audit and analyze the company’s competitive position to highlight competitor activity and new opportunities to promote  growth of  Electrolux group; 
• Work in conjunction with both marketing and account sales managers to create effective customer pitches and presentations;

Competences needed:
• Education: University degree (with knowledge of  marketing)
• At least 2years of work experience in a trade / product marketing function, preferably in Consumer Durables
• Experience from FMCG would be a plus
• Sales experience would be a plus
