Life at Electrolux Group / Diversity & Inclusion

Our story is your story

Our company’s strength and resilience come from the people who work here. Together we unite under shared goals to create better experiences for millions of people around the world. Through respect and equal treatment, our multi-cultural family values the uniqueness that every individual brings to our company.
For us to continue to shape living for the better, we must build diverse teams that reflect our societies and include different perspectives in our decision making. Because Diversity, Inclusion and Equal Treatment make us stronger, more innovative and a better employer. Come as you are – you belong and can grow here with us.

Global initiatives

Established by the UN Global Compact and UN Women, WEPs are a set of principles offering guidance to businesses on how to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace, marketplace and community.
We work hard to create a safe space for women in  technology and innovation. The Women in Tech Summit educates, empowers, inspires and connects women working in technical fields.
Our partnership with behavioral change specialists MindGym aims to provide a research-based perspective and tools that will enable us to better cultivate inclusion in our culture.
Workplace Pride works to create inclusive workplaces for the LGBTIQ+ community where people can truly be themselves, are valued and, through their contributions, help to lead the way for others.
Over the past 15 years over 86 nationalities have come through our Global Electrolux Talent program, bringing fresh insights and perspectives from around the world.
Our global workshops educate all layers of the organization about unconscious bias and how we can create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome. The work is an ongoing process and education continues throughout the year.

Local initiatives

A diversity network consisting of five subcommittees—gender, generations, ethnicity, people with disabilities, and LGBT+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and more) that is open to all employees throughout Latin America.
WE (Women at Electrolux Group) is an employee-led initiative with local chapters. Members come from all walks of life, (and genders!), to join the conversation, become part of the gender-equality solution, and promote real change.
The MOSAIC network aims to make diversity, inclusion and equity top of mind in North America. It aims to be representative of all ethnic groups by promoting diversity and inclusion, raising awareness and empowering employees.
We encourage our employees to take ownership of solutions, including local diversity committees where they can drive real change within their regions and local communities based on needs and priorities.

Voices from our people

"We want to become a leader in diversity as we recognize the unique value that every individual brings to our company. This journey will create a more dynamic work environment and make us stronger, more innovative and a better employer.”
Adam Cich
Executive Vice President, Head of BA APAC & MEA
" Our Digital Product (IOT) organization in APAC MEA has a gender ratio of 50-50. We have 11 nationalities representing the majority of APAC MEA. I’m really proud of how everyone comes together to deliver the needs of our consumer. In my view, if you simply give equal opportunities, it is not hard to build a diverse, high-performing team." Gaurav Julka
Business Head Appliances as a Service (AaaS) - Ownership Solution
