Consumer data is at the heart of our consumer-centric business model. To strengthen our capability to collect and manage consumer data, the Consumer Data & Analytics team, part of European Central Marketing organization, is looking for a Consumer Data Manager to join the team.
In this role, you will be instrumental to formulate the business strategies to collect and enrich consumer data in physical and online channels, encouraging unknown consumers to identify, and thereby enable us to build a 360-consumer understanding. Making sure, in close collaboration with IT, that the data can flow between channels and touchpoints and be accessed and used for analytical and operational purposes in sales, service or marketing, is of highest value.
Consumer data is a shared asset across functions and platforms with complexity related to various touchpoints and activities originating from different areas of the organization. As business responsible, envisioning the future, clarifying business requirements, and driving implementation of relevant processes among central and local stakeholders, you are expected to help step change this area and reach our stretched goals.
In this role, you will report to the European Head of Consumer Data & Analytics. Apart from the members in the own team, you will collaborate with a broad set of representatives from sales, marketing, legal and IT, on both central and local level. The right person has experience from consumer relationship management, loves connecting people, processes and technology, has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to analyse and drive implementation of complex tasks.
Key areas of responsibilities
Act as Business Transformation Manager for consumer data: Drive internal understanding and growth of consumer data across BA Europe. Act as single point of contact from business perspective regarding the collection and usage of consumer data.
Enable a 360º Consumer view: Business responsible for collecting & connecting consumer data across multiple systems and consumer touchpoints, for both known and unknown consumers.
Align and centralize consumer data collection: Responsible for aligning data collection process across the European market and to support local markets in their adaption and implementation of available solutions. Envision the goal and develop plan to get there, including potential data migration from local repositories. Also responsible for driving the alignment of the consumer registration journey and marketing permission management across centrally governed touchpoints (Web, App, CS).
Continuous improvement and development: Gather business requirements (for instance social login, improved registration process, data upload APIs, etc) on consumer data from central and local stakeholders (product & channel owners, central and local marketing, data analysts, etc), prioritize and implement in collaboration with central and local representatives and IT. Collaborate closely with Legal department on regulatory matters to ensure compliance.
Increase data transparency: Increase transparency by developing measurements of Consumer data quality in collaboration with Master Data team and Consumer base reporting together with Consumer Analytics team.

• 3-5 years’ experience related to consumer data management, consumer data platforms, consumer profiling, etc.
• 3-5 years’ experience related to analytics, CRM and personalized communication, leveraging consumer data
• Good knowledge of Marketing Technology platforms and particularly tools for consumer identity, consent management, and personalized in- and outbound communication
• Good understanding of regulatory landscape affecting consumer data
• Meriting with knowledge and experience from SAP Marketing Cloud and SAP Customer Data Cloud
• Understanding of e-commerce, social networks, and media buying
• Meriting with consultancy background and/or working in a multinational setting
• Strong stakeholder management experience, and ability to work cross-functionally to achieve business objectives
• Academic degree in Marketing/Business/IT or diploma and equivalent experience
• Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
