Our Projects

Connected Oven
Our new connected oven will redefine cooking by personalizing the experience to suit the user’s lifestyle and bringing connectivity to a new level. For example, the software can adapt the oven according to the user’s dietary needs, such as removing meat-based cooking functions for vegetarians and offer a variety of settings for family meals or quick 30-minute solutions. Equipped with AI and a built-in camera, the oven can recognize food, adjust browning for perfect results, and guide users step-by-step through recipes via an intuitive app.

The app helps users choose meals that fit their day — quick fixes for busy evenings or more elaborate dishes for hosting friends — to make cooking feel more exciting, not a chore. Notifications and reminders keep users informed about the cooking progress, boosting their confidence and improving the quality of their cooking results!

Digital Experience Platform (DXP)
Our digital experience platform (DXP) is an exciting new embedded platform revolutionizing how we build our next-generation connected appliances. By embracing a modular design and agile methodologies, we are accelerating our product development and transforming the way we work.

Women in Tech Sweden
For the past six years, Electrolux Group has proudly partnered with Women in Tech Sweden, the Nordic's largest tech conference for women.

Our new ambition when supporting this non-profit organization is to inspire more women to choose and stay in tech sphere. Connecting consumers with their appliances drives our tech foundation, as we explore the intersection of humanity and techonolgy. We’ve built our Linux-based system from scratch; this was a super-exciting and challenging project that lays the foundation for our next generation of appliances. Since joining Electrolux Group, I’ve also had the opportunity to work more with embedded development which I love. It is a chance to learn, innovate and overcome challenges, identifying and resolving issues in the backend of the system.


My team is very dynamic, and we all have different skills, backgrounds, cultures and opinions which brings a lot of diversity to our daily work. I also enjoy my role because it goes far beyond simple coding for mobile developers — it's about shaping the infrastructure of the future."

What I love most about my job is the fun people I work with — this makes even the toughest days manageable! Before joining Electrolux Group, I worked in many industries but never in home appliances. It’s an intriguing field. Everyone uses appliances at home, yet few of us think about what goes into creating them or how they work."

 "I started my journey at Electrolux as an intern, where my hands-on experience made me feel like I was truly contributing to product development. This impactful experience made it easy to return as a software engineer, focusing on induction power board software and user interfaces for the next generation of induction combo hobs.
 
Working at Electrolux has been both professionally and personally rewarding. I collaborate daily with colleagues across functions and diverse functions and regions, including teams in China working on induction power boards and in India focusing on user interfaces. This diverse environment has fostered my growth and allowed me to play an active role in delivering efficient and cost-effective software solutions."
